I will be 41 tomorrow and perimenopause is kicking my butt!!!! I have periods that last anywhere between 1 and 21 days, then not have one for a few months. I have hot flashes and night sweats that have kept me from sleeping for over a year. My body itches (I didn't know that was a symptom before I saw a doctor). I'm tired constantly and also feel like I'm lazy and not doing enough! i don't want to shower because it takes too much energy I also feel dirty because I didn't shower that day. The symptoms are not in some book you just have to live it, they're different for everyone.
