I feel this to my core! I am also struggling with prioritizing tasks and chores. There are days where I look like I got hit by a train but at least my baby is changed into a cute outfit 😅 A win is a win. Also the amount of takeout we have bought is diabolical. The thought of cooking after looking after a newborn all day is enough to send me into a spiral lol I need to do better though, for the sake of our wallets.

It’s weirdly so comforting to see you come over to the other side 😂 I always get jealous of people who have so much time to post and make content because I would seriously love nothing more than to finally edit and post my drafts but I just don’t have time- and when I do, like you I have to do something that takes priority. The lack of time and the lack of help is what put me into ppa/ppd. My husband unfortunately only got ONE additional day off with both babies after we came home from the hospital, and I remember feeling resentful that friends didn’t come by, but no one else had kids yet so they really had no idea

I appreciate these videos because I can relate! My baby just turned 1month and the new born trenches are so real and I also didn’t realize how hard this was going to be. My family is an hour away and I also don’t have people over all the time which is harrrd. So I find comfort in these videos thank you for sharing 🩷

Im 29 weeks atm , my mom lives in Texas and I in San Diego , she wants to come stay with me a few months or move back to Ca to help me cus im the last one to have kids so she really wants to be there , my husband has 3 months of paternity leave . Im already training my baby to like loud noises 😅 so she doesn’t wake up with ill be doing chores

Girl if you don’t have a baby carrier, GET ONE! I clean the house and do chores while I wear the baby. She takes the best naps in the carrier too! The ergo baby embrace is great.

I feel you I didn’t realize havigg by a baby was going to be hard it has gotten better in some ways that I made some changes to help me feel ok and now she is 7 weeks. I literally take it a day at a time

Completely in this boat. My baby is 7 weeks and I have my mom to help me 24/7 as she lives with me but I still don’t have time! I really don’t know how single or SAHM moms do it without any help whatsoever
