@cohenfamily2013: Chile… the racism in Florida is something else. We were checking out at Walmart, and we were the only Black family in line. Everyone else in the checkout area—including the employees—was Latino. A worker walked straight over to us, stared us down the entire time like we were about to steal something, then tried to take our cart before we were even done scanning our items. I’ve never seen her do that to anyone else in line. It’s exhausting being made to feel suspicious just because of the color of your skin. Nobody deserves to be treated like they’re guilty before they’ve done anything. Has anyone else experienced this? #Racism #BlackVoices #DoBetter #Florida
