Now while I understand not liking the democrats, acting like theyve done nothing at all is disingenuous. I as a trans person, am safer in democrat run states than I am in states like Ohio. Sure, maybe theyve been innefective in a red state like Ohio or in my state with the worst bathroom ban on record. But theyre some of the only people standing up for me in my state. So to act like "Eh, same as the repubs" in the comments from yall is disingenuous ans says "Im too privileged to consider what happens if we lose, the democrats lose, and now the repubs win, again". Not saying this to be anti socialist, Im just anti having my rights stripped further because people need to be anti democrat more than theyre anti republicants.
