It’s wild how some people can’t tell the difference between a fictional character and the actress playing them. If you don’t like the writing, the plot, or the direction of the show that’s completely fair criticise the writers or the producers. But insulting an actress because she played the role she wax hired to play just doesn’t make sense. She didn’t sit in the writer’s room and decide every storyline. For decades, Tv was filled with nearly unstoppable male hero’s while woman were often written as side characters or damsels in distress and hardly anyone claimed that was an attack on women. Now the moment the roles are a little more balanced suddenly it’s a problem. If the writing is generally poor explain why. Talk about the dialogue, pacing, or character development. But reducing every woman to “woman are too dominant” isn’t criticism it’s just complaining that the story doesn’t match your personal idea of gender roles. And dragging the actress into it is even worse. She’s doing her job, entertaining people and bringing a character to life. She deserves criticism for her performance if it’s warranted not insults for existing in a role you don’t like. If a Tv show makes you this angry at an actress you’ve never met maybe it’s time to remember the difference between fiction and reality.
