You are doing incredibly well! I feel the pain with AC issues though, mine goes out in my Escape every summer. After 3 compressors, and a major deep dive by my mechanic who's like an uncle to me at this point, we found that it's an evaporator leak. it could be the same thing that's going on with your car too.
