Saudi Arabia's role in Sudan is greatly exaggerated. It's not as if Saudi Arabia is sending tons of weapons to Sudanese government forces. Saudi support is more moral than practical, and so far, Saudi Arabia has shown no desire to intervene directly in the Sudanese civil war. Therefore, I don't think it's fair to accuse Saudi Arabia of being one of the reasons for the deteriorating situation in Sudan.
