I’m Latina and I HATE how so many families in our community willingly let their underage daughters get with older men. If they’re ⚪️, have money, or even just considered good looking is a good enough excuse. A lot of times, the guy can simply ask the parents for permission to see their child and that’s considered respectful enough for them to say yes. I knew a girl my age who was seeing her uncles best friend who was in his 30’s since she was in 8th grade. They’re married with kids and all 💔😣

I find it so cruel that they didn’t just lie but failed to report her missing for days on end. Teachers stepped in and nothing was done. The system also failed her. Like what is it there for?
