@melanie.esthetician: Based on everything I’ve reviewed, this is the sequence of events I currently believe is most likely. I believe Tracestin allegedly attacked Nolan very likely in the water. I believe Nolan was then pulled onto Wyatt’s boat, where he never regained consciousness. At some point, Bart became aware that Nolan had either died or was beyond help. Once Bart realized the seriousness of the situation, I believe he left because he didn’t want to be involved. I don’t believe the group wanted to call Seatow. My impression is that they were forced into doing so after Bart refused to tow them. During the distress call, someone can be heard saying, “Dammit, Bart,” which, to me, suggests frustration that Bart had abandoned them. I also believe Jerry took control of the situation after learning what had happened. If Bart ultimately returned to tow them, I believe it’s possible Jerry persuaded or pressured him to do so through intimidation or threats. If Bart never returned and someone else performed the tow, then that timeline also needs to be clarified. The autopsy has led many people to focus on the possibility that neck or throat trauma contributed to Nolan’s death. That makes one question especially important: Did Nolan board Wyatt’s boat already suffering those injuries, or did they occur while he was on the boat? To me, the most important investigative question is still the same: What caused his death exactly? What did Bart know, and when did he know it? Bart’s account could help establish when Nolan’s condition became known to everyone present, why Bart left, if he later returned, and what was happening during those critical moments before emergency help was requested. I believe those questions should be fully explored through a formal interview with Bart. #nolanwells #nolenwells
