People seriously need to stop comparing temperatures by just looking at the number..A 35°C heatwave in Europe isn’t the same as a normal 35°C day. Europe is warming much faster than expected because of climate change, and many of its roads, railways, buildings, and homes were never designed for this kind of heat. That’s why you see roads buckling, train tracks bending, and other infrastructure failing. On top of that, many places have little or no air conditioning because they historically didn’t need it.. Heat isn’t just about the temperature on your phone,it also depends on humidity, overnight temperatures, building design, and what a region is actually built to handle. Before making fun of people, it’s worth understanding the science and geography behind it.
