The sign isn’t that serious. Influencers are often obnoxious, especially in hot bed like on Nantucket. I actually like her, but the discrimination argument is a massive reach. Unfortunately this whole drama is proving their point, like give me a break. 🤣

Is the context being deliberately misunderstood or do ppl really not understand the distinction? This is no different than if a sales person complained about a "No Solicitors" sign, tried to say it was a personal affront instead of a individual/business creating a boundary against unwanted/uninvited interruptions and/or behavior. Being an Influencer is a job, not who you are. The business is simply creating a boundary to prevent influencer type behavior and doing so in a cheeky way. Influencers can obviously visit the store, they just can't film or record. Smells of feigned outrage.

I want to add the owners of this store are SO RUDE. I’ve walked in countless times and not once have they looked up from their computers to look at me let alone acknowledge me in any fashion…and I’m not even an influencer..I just love antiques but part of the reason my husband and I have never purchased anything from them is due to how unfriendly they are every single time without fail.
