I needed to hear this. I am having such a hard time right now. My Dad passed away earlier this month. The experience has made me realize that there are so many kind people in this world. It also made me realize how much, for me, money and my job cannot be in even my top five priorities. 3 days off to mourn. 2 days unpaid to empty his apartment. Written up for taking another two days unpaid for a mental health break. Hanging onto kind words and support from others, and reminding myself what is really most important in this life.
