@johnny.r.ortiz: This was my teams 2024 senior design project. We did an emg-controlled prosthetic hand for amputees. Goal was to make a cost effective system using some medical grade IC’s and a teensy 4.1 micro controller. #arduinoproject #embeddedsystems #robotics
This reminds me of the technology behind Tilly Lockey's prosthetic.

glad you clarified it was a senior project, cause im seeing crazy projects on here thinking it was for resume candy to get an internship

I did the same my sophomore year as the final project for a class. We also made the arm into a voltage divider to enable you to control an elbow joint as well.

How do those things on your hand work? Logically, it's an analog signal, but I'm curious how exactly it works.

it's becoming more apparent in the neuromuscular data field. as tech advances. i'm exploring multimodal sensor fusion at the moment

Wowww, what an incredible invention! I would love to study robotic engineering someday. In fact, I’m going to prepare for a robotics competition and hopefully make it to the regional level first, then go through two state stages, then the national level, and I hope, God willing, I can make it to the international level!

what are these sensors called and where can i get them. Also how do i wear them because i wanna get into a competition in robotics and i am fascinated by the fact you can just move a muscle and the robitic arm moves.
i woukd like to use it on a paralise friend helping him walk but i fear i mich make a mistake and have him get injured

Si se quiere conectar al ser humano sin un brazo tendrían que instalarlo con un chip de controlador del cerebro para que envíe señales a la mano de lo contrario no sirve

What kind of adapter is that connected to the battery going into the breadboard rails? Did u have to do any soldering?
