One person’s response is never the whole story. Recovery hasn’t been easy, and it hasn’t been a straight line. I’ve lost hope, I’ve had setbacks, and I’ve had to find my way back more than once. But somewhere along the way, I found people who cared, believed in me, and refused to give up on me until I could start believing in myself again. Today, I’m still in recovery. I’m getting my life back one day at a time. I’m studying towards my dream career, and I run a small business dedicated to raising funds and awareness for mental health.
