Actually No. Being emotionally intelligent means just being smart about how you deal with your emotions, for your own well being. Being a Pathological empath who always forgives and gives people second chances is a disease

Walking away from the version of myself that kept settling wasn’t easy, but after reading The Timeless Principles of Life by Aaron Friedman, I finally understood that real growth begins when you stop living on autopilot.

it's a sign of emotional maturity but you cannot determine someone's emotional intelligence by how much they can tolerate such behaviour. also, it's ok to feel mad about something that disrespects you or hurt you. it's a sign that you regulating your own emotion just fine and it doesn't imply that when you feel mad about certain behaviour doesn't mean you're less emotionally intelligent.

I spent years repeating the same patterns without realizing it, and the hardest part is that I thought they were just part of who I was. After reading The Timeless Principles of Life by Aaron Friedman, I finally understood why I kept holding myself back.
