I worked at Burlington and they do that when someone broke the packaging (aka stole a pair or so) they’ll do that instead of throwing the whole pack away

This is called broken packs someone stole a few pairs so now they have to sell them separately (clearance) the sticker machine give is the price to tag

ross does this. We do it when a multipack is broken, instead of throwing away, we sell them as singles. I think $1 is a little expensive…but people buy them!

I grabbed a whole bunch of the individual socks before and the dude only bring up one pair so I got about 20 pairs of socks for $.68 cents

Oh so it’s a very simple explanation. So Burlington doesn’t have a classic inventory like other retailers where other retailers would be able to tell you exactly how many types of Nike socks they have Burlington’s able to sit there and say we got like $200 worth of socks not even able to tell you the brand just tell you how much money worth of socks they got, and even then the stores themselves can’t even do that
