It would've been funny but they wouldve made no money on opening weekend and thats the main thing studios are looking for: return on their investment. Fakeout with a terrible movie would've been awesome in theory...but unfortunately, we live under unchecked, rampant capitalism. So cool ideas like this would never be greenlit.
