@su_tsu: Most resorts in the Maldives would require a boat or seaplane transfer upon arrival to the Male airport. Conrad Maldives is a 30 minute seaplane ride away from the Male airport, we were lucky that our flight had all passengers going to the Conrad Maldives. Otherwise, it is pretty normal for seaplanes to make multiple stops to different resorts.
