The world around us looks completely different from how we imagine it, and our eyes show only a very small fragment of the real reality. #eyes #theory The theory that the eyes are not organs of vision, but "receivers of reality." According to this idea, the eyes do not create an image of the world on their own. They only receive a stream of information from the surrounding reality, like an antenna receives a radio signal. And the brain builds the picture itself. Proponents of this theory go even further and suggest that different people literally see slightly different versions of the world. For example, your red color may look completely different from mine, but we both call it "red," so we never notice the difference. The strangest part of the theory claims that if it were possible to change the settings of the brain, then a person would be able to see additional layers of reality: new colors, hidden objects, or even other dimensions that are now filtered out by consciousness. There is no scientific evidence for this, but it is interesting that the human eye actually perceives only a small part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Ultraviolet, infrared, and much more exist around us right now, but we don't see it.
