if they are acting like this i promise you its bcs you as a parent made it impossible to feel comfortable when telling you anything/asking anything cus 1. asking anything probably came with passive agressive answears 2. telling you anything probably ended with monolog or side of 1000000 aditional questions aaaand monolog about how bad of a child someone is, or simply they are scared of you (and my personal tip to parents dont be too strict cus always saying no can also cause this and later your child will treat asking about anything as impossible task) i may not be a specialist but i know how i feel about this since yea i still act like this towards them and im not a child... but getting rid of this behavior literally feels impossible for now

lol I use to keep asking until she finally got tired of me asking and just scream yes. 😂😂😂😂 My strategy was always to just keep talking and give her no peace. lol like the family guy episode when Stewie kept calling for his mom

its kinda weird that a child has to build up courage to ask you something, they shouldn't be afraid of your reaction in the first place. if a child is afraid just to ask for something they do not have a safe and healthy home
