Start going to your local farmers markets or buy from farmers in person. Get your eggs your milk veggies and fruits from your local farmers in your area also when it comes to produce go to your local butchers not the grocery store butchers but actual butcher shops and also if you live near any water go on your local pier and you can pay fisherman to fish for you or go and catch your own fish! We need to stop depending on these grocery store chain and depend on our communities

I took my son to the ER with the strangest condition I’d ever seen him after he ate chicken I brought home from Costco. I was so angry at myself and on top of that we were stressed bc of housing insecurity. Just absolute hell for us that Christmas.
