As a parent, I get it. As a pool owner, this is why I stopped letting people go in our pool. I work hard to keep the pool chemistry levels safe for people but this would use up the free chlorine meaning I would need to add EXTRA chlorine.

If the vitamin C dissolves in the water in the bottle it will also immediately dissolve into the pool water. Also, why would vitamin C, an acid, neutralize chlorinated water, another acid? Do have any evidence that there is any benefit to this?
