I hate how everyone does this 😭 why are we normalizing rushing things? People need to take their time with their relationships instead of rushing into marriage. I rather be have no ring until we’re both ready for everything that comes with a marriage than to rush into it just to end up not following through with the marriage or getting a divorce. I can’t imagine being proposed to and then calling it off, it’d be so embarrassed 😭

My best friend has been with her high school sweetheart heart for like 10 years and the barley got married this past December. They had goals to accomplish before they got married. She went to PT school, got her doctorate. He went to school , got his bachelor’s. He works for USAA now doing fraud work. I’m glad they waited until they were financially ready to do so.
