yeah banks often wont let you withdrawal too much at once without setting up in advance. This is for multiple reasons including antiscam and the fact that banks dont have the room to store all that money on site.

For sure: if you’re trying to withdraw $50,000 in cash, you can’t just walk into the bank and expect them to hand it to you. You usually need to call ahead so they can order the cash or they may have to get it transferred from another branch.

Banks don’t have cash on hand with no warning because they aren’t just waiting around to get robbed. If you made a reservation ahead of time you could have gotten it all at once

well, i mean, even if he was being scammed hes legally entitled to his money, even if hes being a fool, doesnt matter what the reason is thats his cash, all a bank should be allowed to do about it is warn him for his own good, and please, try lieing about not having 50grand, its a bank, 100% has a vault with way more then 50k, likely holds at least 1mill or more
