Honestly I slightly prefer human covers of Heat Abnormal over the original Adachi Rei version since it feels like I’m actively listening to the sorrow and pain of people who are slowly witnessing the death of humanity as they know it. While with the Adachi Rei version you don’t get that since Adachi Rei’s voice bank is fully artificial making the song lose the human aspect to it. Of course this was fully intentional and I’m aware of that which is why I still love the Adachi Rei version of the song. It’s just that I prefer human covers of Heat Abnormal slight more than I do Adachi Rei’s version.
