So, upcoming senior here. Just know: yes we hate majority of freshman (it’s how your class acts most of the time, your class normally is very disrespectful towards teachers throughout the transition from middle school to high school) but as long as you are chill and try and be respectful you are less likely to be noticed in a negative light. In my experience freshman Friday was a myth so I wouldn’t worry too much about it 🥲

Hi, going into sophomore year here! As long as you don't act a fool and are relatively well behaved you'll be fine. Freshman Friday doesn't exist and is just something said to scare upcoming freshmen. For the most part just stay in your lane, interact with others when you want too, and try to make new friends. I wish you the best!

hey! upcoming junior here! I'ma put it straight with you, everything you hear about "everyone hating freshman" is like 10% true. it's a generalization that, when you put yourself out there and prove to them you're a good person who just wants to get thru school and enter your adult life, you'll get treated just like all the upperclassmen. just focus on your GPA, and PERSONAL life, having drama early on will make THE REST of your highschool life *HELL*, same with your GPA, your freshman year literally BUILDS the foundation for the rest of your highschool life! so FOCUS on grades, be kind not annoying, and your freshman year will be a breeze! you got this^^!

People only hate freshmen because of their bs, they almost always come into highschool acting like it’s a fucking dsy csre. As a senior I can tell you now we don’t hate all freshmen but we definitely remember the ones we don’t like. There will be specific groups we can literally point out and tell you they are freshmen becaude believe it or not they tend to actuslly mature the older they get 😭 I’ve known most of the people in my grade since middle school and they’ve matured so much I can actually tell the diffrence in who’s a freshman and who’s not based off of how they act

im going into sophmore year, here's some tips don't worry! 1. there is NO such thing as freshman friday 😭 NOTHING happened to me 2. focus ON YOUR GRADES. if your gpa is bad in freshman year it's gonna take so much just to recover ,😭 and i mean 2.0 and below 3. just be respectful towards teachers and stuff because there is a lot of stigma from freshman being horrible towards school staff and other students! u got this!!

as an incoming senior, just go to your classes and keep your friends close and you’ll be fine, if people pick on you just walk away they’ll be embarrassed for picking on little kids anyway 😭 ALSO TALK TO PEOPLE you don’t know !! Make friends !! you got that
