@nourishingapothecary: NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) is one of the supplements that’s gained a lot of attention in endometriosis research, but it’s important to understand why. NAC is a precursor to glutathione, one of the body’s most important antioxidants. Researchers have been interested in NAC because it may help support healthy inflammatory pathways, reduce oxidative stress and influence some of the biological processes involved in endometriosis. While it isn’t a cure for endometriosis, some studies have shown promising results, which is why you’ll often see it included in evidence-informed treatment plans. The key thing to remember is this: ❌ NAC isn’t right for everyone. ❌ It’s not a standalone treatment. ❌ The best supplement plan depends on your symptoms, medications and overall health. At Nourishing Apothecary, we stock practitioner-quality NAC supplements from MyBrainCo, HealthWise and Protein Supplies Australia. The right brand and dose will depend on your individual needs, so it’s always worth seeking personalised advice before starting. If you’re struggling with endometriosis, painful periods or pelvic pain, our team of naturopaths can help create a personalised treatment plan that goes beyond just supplements. 💙 Book a FREE discovery call to find the right practitioner for you. 🌿 Australia-wide consultations via Zoom. 🛍️ Shop practitioner-quality supplements at www.nourishingapothecary.com #Endometriosis #NAC #Naturopath #Women’sHealth #Supplements

It did not help my progression as I was already 20 yrs into my journey/cycle but I believe it did help me conceive my son after my first miscarriage. And it did help with pain management to make it more manageable. Didn’t take the pain away but helps deal. I cycle synced it.
