I knew the Duggars, went to their house and all- Our family was even stricter than theirs and I can confirm, I still cry about the fact that I never got a normal school experience, never got to wear makeup, never got to live the life I watched everyone else enjoy… All along, I envied the Duggar girls because they got to wear makeup, jewelry, etc- and now that I’m an adult I see how much deeper it was, and I feel so sorry for ALL of us, not just me.
