I’m a soprano and I have to admit that when I talk in a lower register all day and try to sing high later, it doesn’t come out the same. When I talk in a higher tone, it’s usually a lot prettier and easier!! Just my experience tho 💕

As a voice teacher this is how you preserve your voice!!! You change the placement of your tone so it’s not super straining for your vocal cords. It’s a very real thing and Ariana is the #1 example I give my students for good technique use

She talks like a baby now yet her voice was 10x better several years ago. I’ve never seen Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey have to constantly change their speaking voice to ”preserve” their amazing vocals
