That did not work at all for our golden retriever puppy. He did not GAF. He’d rather have choked himself to death than pay attention to us on a walk. He was otherwise a super good boy though.

Do not ‘pop’ a puppy on a slip lead unless you want to hurt your puppy!! Also you don’t need your puppy to walk nicely on a lead! They are a puppy!!!! 😡

Any tips for while I’m gone at work we tried a kennel for 1month + and she would just poop and panic the whole time so instead we have a puppy room however no matter how much enrichment I do she goes after the walls or baseboards or door like she’s trying to escape

I need some advice for my dog. My problem is that today she started acting weird after our morning walk. When i tried to take her on another walk in the afternoon, she refused to go on the full walk. She took a piss and then when i tried to bring her further out she turned around and started pulling the leash back home. She ended up pooping inside the house because she was refusing to stay outside which is weird because she usually likes being outside. I just got back from trying to take her on another walk and we got a little further but for some reason she turned around and started pulling back to the opposite direction, again. I also forgot to mention while she was doing this she seemed scared of something but there was nothing in front or behind us. Normally she gets scared of things like other people, dogs, bikes/scooters, or other big moving things (although she's not scared of cars for some reason) she had her tail really low, not in between her legs but her tail usually stands high. I have no idea what to do because she is refusing to go on these walks but she doesn't normally piss and poop in the same place. Help a girl out here idk if it helps but she is also a German shepherd.
