Generation X has lived through typewriters, cassette tapes, floppy disks, dial-up internet, pagers, landlines, CDs, DVDs, smartphones, and now AI. We didn't just witness change. We helped create it, then learned, adapted, and kept moving every step of the way. Sometimes we joke that if all technology disappeared tomorrow, Gen X would probably shrug, make coffee over a campfire, fix something with duct tape, and somehow still get through the day... 😁 FINLAND 🇫🇮

I’m talking about the Generation X crowd—born around 1971 in Lima, Peru—back when we drank water straight from the garden hose. Nothing bad ever happened. Cars didn't have seatbelts—or if they did, we didn't use them—and we certainly didn't have airbags. People smoked on airplanes. We were the generation that used rotary phones. When you wanted to call a girl you’d met over the weekend, her dad or brother was usually right there to answer; and good luck trying to figure out what to say to her—there was no texting back and forth. You had to say whatever came to mind right then and there—and that really was an art form. When you were meeting up with a girl, you just had to pray she’d show up, because there was no way to communicate with her; you just had an address for the meeting spot. Did she show up? Did something happen? You’d never know. You wouldn't find out what went wrong, and you’d just go on with your life anyway, because you didn't give a shi$
