But doesn’t this risk them not emptying one breast completely? I thought they needed to finish one first to make sure they get the high calorie milk at the back.

Hi I am bf mt baby he’s 6weeks but he only eats ok the breast for about 8ish minutes sometimes more sometimes less. I recently just started bf again I was just giving pumped bottles but I want him to latch (his latch is perfect) I do hear swallows the whole time he eats but then he unlatched and doesn’t want to relatch idk if that’s normal or not. Ik I have a very strong fast letdown so maybe he’s earrings enough. But do I switch still even know it’s very short like that? I’ve just been liking the boob that didn’t get fed ok or wait till next feed. I also noticed sometimes not alltimes he does get hungry again faster so I offer breast and he’ll eat again but it’s only a few minutes and then he falls asleep I feel like he gets more full for longer on the bottle but idk

Hi, I have a question. My baby was born July 5. I wanted to exclusively breast-feed but the latching was super hard in the beginning so I just gave him a bottle the Dr. Brown’s bottles and was exclusively pumping And then a week later I started exclusively breast-feeding as in latching I still pump here and there. I do have a big over supply but I’m with the lactation consultant, trying to decrease my pumping without dropping my supply but about once or twice a night, I will give him a bottle so he only gets a bottle, maybe two bottles within a 24 hour. Period! He has been getting Dr. Brown’s. I have different bottles, but I haven’t tried them I don’t wanna give him nipple confusion! He’s doing really well with latching and he will take a bottle but like he doesn’t seem like he wants it like he would rather the nipple he kind of sometimes will push the bottle away I feel like cause I think he’s so used to the nipple be beside the point what is a good bottle to use! If I’m exclusively breast-feeding and I want to use a bottle sometimes I know that some of your videos you said the triangle method I seen the Nuk bottle the pigeon bottles and the bottles that start with the L that are purple I don’t know how to say the name of them and a couple other ones you said!! is there anyone that you recommend more than others like cause I don’t wanna get all of those different ones I would rather get one and then see if it works and stick with that one if not, try a different one do you have one that you would recommend to start with? I heard the pigeon is really good.

is switching sides essentially the “dinner and dessert” method? feed them on one side and top them off on the other in case they weren’t actually full? 🤍

My 12 day old baby will only latch on the right. He hates the left and I’ve tried so much. When I pump I get minimum 2-3 ounces every time, can that ensure he is getting enough only on 1? He nurses often and I can even see milk around his lips at times
