This is a very valid question. SP4 works with 2V because of the way they can also approach hierarchies and how they transform their suffering onto duty and perseverance. Still, E4 is archetypically 3V and it works best with 1E3V as a whole. 2V's have struggles like all Will placements, it is just the way they go about it. Though it is true, that struggling with their place in the world won't be a neurosis of them. Like any high Will (1V, 2V), an "unshakable" sense of self only means that external forces do not affect them directly nor dictate who they are or where they stand. People tend to forget 2V is still high Will, they simply are flexible and secure in their way of being and interact with other people's Will, dialogically speaking, differently from 1V.

2V doesn’t inherently have an unshakable sense of self and is still affected by whatever weaker functions accompany it. it can still carry a lot of insecurities, people who are 2V are still people who have plenty of struggles

I believe it is similar to SX1’s overzealousness that may appear as hypervigilance to correction, yet some types can be 2L, like VLFE. The second placement is simply the medium of which they express their rooted concerns in an all-encompassing way.
