fun fact jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel beams! it does however burn hot enough (especially when combustion is caused by something like a 767 going something like 600mph) to cause the tensile strength and overall rigidity of the steel to severely diminish to the point of failure from the 30+ floors of offices above them.

I find this video fascinating. I was there on 9/11 and for the recovery. I remember those large pieces of facade piercing the ground and standing tall during the recovery after 9/11. They were hauntingly still "standing" in the weeks/months after the attach during the cleanup and I find it interesting to see how that actually happened. Thanks for this video.
