Or one sibling was horrific to the other and the parent had nothing to do with it and put both in counseling to help thinking it was a sibling rivalry type thing but it was way deeper. This notion that it’s a narcissistic parent all the time is crap!

If it ain't me that my mom is attacking, it's my brother...and whenever my brother and my mom are going through it I'm his best friend..whenever I'm going through it with my mom, I'm left if the dust.... it's so exhausting. I cannot wait to get away from this toxic environment, this time I will not be coming back.

I don’t f with mine because she treats her kids just like our mom treated us as kids. And I can’t get with that. It’s actually so hypocritical also because she doesn’t speak to our mom because of it. Yet you go and treat your kids the same way. Make that make sense

Then it passes to the grandkids. My sister's kids can do no wrong, while mine is never right bc it wasn't their fault, you should have known it was going to happen and prevented it. I stay mad.

There is also a narcissistic sibling/sibling they turned into a schizophrenic (scapegoat) dynamic, sometimes. It is not always the parents, or not entirely.
