I will say leaving religion makes leaving the myth of white superiority/heterosexuality/and cis gender importance exposed as the lies they are. Leaving Mormonism helped me gain a greater understanding of the bias and inaccuracy I was raised in. Not having to obey religious leaders/texts to “be good”, freed me to have more empathy,compassion and be loud/work for change!🥰
