People want to blame the kids or the police, but we also need to ask why there were no proper warning signs, barriers, or safety precautions on that bridge where the accident happened. If this type of dangerous road condition existed in a wealthy white neighborhood, there would likely be immediate attention and pressure to fix it. Every community deserves the same level of safety and investment. Accountability should include the city and the officials responsible for maintaining safe roads.

This could’ve been avoided more than one time before this outcome. No lights, no plates and not from the area. What did we expect? Thankfully no innocent victims on Cicero nor rail workers were injured during this event. While it’s sad we have to place blame where blame is due not on the police or anyone else. Poor decisions result in poor outcomes 💯
