Great food hits different when your plate is also supporting the people who make New Orleans special. I pulled up to Crack’D and quickly understood why this spot deserves some attention. From the packed dining room and beautiful atmosphere to creative cocktails and brunch dishes that come with their own personality, they aren't just making breakfast—they're making brunch an experience. We got into the Pineapple Upside Down Mimosa, Strawberry Lemon Drop, smoked duck Bacon Tower, chicken and waffles, Bananas Foster French Toast, brisket hash, mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts… and when I tell you the table stayed BUSY?! 😂 That Bananas Foster French Toast alone looked like it had professional headshots scheduled after brunch. And that mac & cheese? I almost needed the chef to come outside so we could discuss who gave them permission to make it that creamy. 😂 But there's an even bigger reason I'm putting y'all on. Crack’D will be one of the local businesses featured at Savor the City, an event designed to bring the community together around the restaurants, food businesses, and culinary talent that help make our local food scene what it is. Savor the City is about more than coming somewhere to eat. It's about showing up for LOCAL.❤️ It's an opportunity to discover businesses you may have never tried, meet the people behind the food, taste what they're creating, and put your dollars and attention behind the entrepreneurs feeding our community every day. 📅 Thursday, August 27 📍 Broadside NOLA - 600 N. Broad St, New Orleans If you've ever said you want to see more local restaurants and food businesses succeed, here's an opportunity to turn that support into action. Come hungry. Discover somebody new. Find your next favorite local spot. And support the people behind the plates. And there's more happening at Crack’D: 7-day service returns in September, and college students with a valid college ID can receive 20% off entrées Monday–Friday during September. So Uptown college students, they looking out for y'all too. 😂 🎟️ Get your Savor the City tickets before they sell out. 🍴 Bring your food crew and support local businesses. 📲 Save this post so you don't forget. 🤝 Share it because somebody in your circle needs to know about this event. And follow NOLA Food Guy because I eat good so you don't waste ya money. @Crack’d Brunch #NewOrleansFood #NOLAEats #SupportLocalNOLA #brunch #nolafoodie
