After polaris was placed on a machine left behind by the high evolutionary in Antarctica by Zaladane it transferred Polaris' magnetic powers to her, however once Polaris was being used to absorb negative energy by the shadow king psylocke used her psychic knife and shoved it through Lorna's head resetting her magnetic powers and never grew or became strong again. As for Angel; apocalypse did not replace his wings, they were damaged by in a battle with the reavers and then his father had them amputated then became archangel with metal wings
