@laurenrelf_: About 6 months into my maternity leave, I finally had the conversation with my partner I’d been putting off for weeks. I’d spent so long trying not to think about it. Hoping somehow I’d feel differently by the time maternity leave came to an end. But I didn’t. The thought of going back to work full-time… Paying most of my salary on childcare… And missing so much time with my little girl… Honestly, it broke my heart. 💔 So one evening I finally said it out loud… “I don’t want to go back to work full-time.” I expected him to tell me we didn’t have a choice. That this is just what every family has to do. Instead he looked at me and said… “We’ll find another way.” Those four words changed everything. Because for the first time, I stopped believing going back full-time was my only option. That’s when I came across digital products and Canva. Things like planners, templates, invitations… And what made it feel possible was realising I didn’t have to create everything from scratch. I could start with ready-made products. Learn as I went. And build it around my life. Fast forward to now… I’ve earned over £6,000 from my phone. I was able to extend my maternity leave instead of rushing back before I was ready. I’ve reduced my hours at work, which means more days with my little girl and so much more flexibility around my family. 🥹 It hasn’t just changed our finances. It’s changed how I get to spend these precious early years with my daughter. And it all started with one conversation I’d been too scared to have. So if you’re on maternity leave and you’ve found yourself having those same thoughts… Comment or message me MUM and I’ll happily send my free guide on how I got started and how you can too ❤️ And follow along for more tips on how to earn from home around mum life ✨ #maternityleave #mumsidehustle #maternitypay #mumlife

✨Kinderdijk✨ where 19 windmills and three pumping stations tell a tale of Dutch ingenuity against the ever-present threat of floods since 1740. While no longer pumping water, these iconic structures stand as a testament to the Netherlands' age-old battle with water. The mill network has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997 due to its human-made landscape that showcases over a thousand years of resourcefulness and resilience in draining and safeguarding the area through hydraulic technology. Fun facts about the Kinderdijk windmills and things to do there: 🔸Two of the Kinderdijk windmills can be visited 🔸Most of the windmills are inhabited, keep this in mind on your visit 🔸There are 3 different types of windmills in Kinderdijk: smock mills, post mills and ground-sail mills 🔸Your ticket to Kinderdijk also gives you access to a boat tour 🔸The Bird Theatre will introduce to 22 local birds 🔸There is also a multi-screen film about the windmill area of Kinderdijk which can be viewed at the Wisboomgemaal Visitor’s Centre 🔸The pumping station also has a floating exhibition You can visit the village easily from Rotterdam, either by Waterbus or by public transport. But if you are not staying in the Rotterdam area, you might want to visit other Dutch sights filled with windmills. One option close to Amsterdam is Zaanse Schans, which you can easily visit with several of our Tours from Amsterdam. We will take you to the Zaanse Schans, where there are 13 windmills to admire. Not quite as many as at Kinderdijk but certainly worth a visit ❤️ #kinderdijk #kinderdijkmills #netherlands #toursandtickets #holidays #winterwonderland #reisvlog #reistips #travellers #amsterdam #beautifuldestinations #thingstodo #wanderlust #tiktoknl #europe #travel #winter
