Wuthering Waves doesn't primarily suffer from low FPS—it suffers from poor frame pacing. When you start moving or enter combat, the engine has to handle asset streaming, AI, animations, physics, particles, and rendering simultaneously. During these workload spikes, the GPU may temporarily run out of work, causing GPU utilization to drop, frametimes to spike, and 1% lows to collapse. That's why the game can report 120 FPS while feeling like 40-50 FPS. In many cases, the issue isn't raw hardware performance, but how the engine schedules and distributes its workload.

While its great and all that the game is visually appealing, I hope the game is also optimized for low end devices, I really hope that the rumor about total optimization for wuwa 3.7 or earlier so I can play again 😭

yeah it's because devs are too lazy to optimize and also kuro uses unreal engine which makes this situation even worse unreal engine is a powerful engine but if only they make some changes to make it suitable for their game like shader cache loading
