It’s the opposite on my unit and as a pct. Whenever all the student nurses come i leave for not even a minute and come back to my chair missing completely.

Omg once during a clinical there was another student nurse from my school there a semester ahead of me doing her preceptorship. I was sitting in a chair and when she came back from a pts room she looked at me dead in the eye and said “chair.” THE DISRESPECTTTT pisses me off to this day

omg when I was a nursing student in the cath lab, the cardiologist got up to do the procedure & was like you can sit in my chair. I was like no no it’s ok & he still pulled his chair out and was like SIT😭 I think about it everyday

I have plantar fasciitis myself, and I’m also a nursing student so when we have students at my clinic shadowing I always open a space for them to sit and chat with them about their goals and what they wanna go into. It’s a time for them to learn and they already are uncomfortable so let’s not exacerbate that

I always feel bad when students just stand. I invite them to sit next to me at nurses station 🥹🥹🥹. I cannot imagine standing a whole 12 hr shift

I’m a resident doctor & I befriended a student nurse & offered her my chair a few times so she could sit next to her preceptor - now she saves me a seat whenever she can :) it’s the little things 🫶
