This is my matcha sugar cookie recipe soft, sweet, and full of that delicious matcha flavor. Ingredients Wet • 225 g unsalted butter, cold and cubed • 150 g powdered sugar • 1 large egg (50 g) • 1 tbsp vanilla paste • 1 tsp natural honey Dry • 360g • 1 tsp cornstarch • 1/4 tsp salt For the variations • Culinary matcha powder (1–3 tsp depending on intensity) ⸻ 1) Creaming (short mix — no over-aerating) In the stand mixer: • Beat the cold cubed butter + powdered sugar • Only 1 minute or just until combined • Do not let it get fluffy (prevents spreading) ⸻ 2) Add • The egg • The vanilla • The honey Mix only 5–8 seconds, just until incorporated. ⸻ 3) Dry ingredients In a separate bowl, whisk together: • Flour • Cornstarch • Salt Add the dry ingredients to the mixer on low speed and mix until a soft dough forms that doesn’t stick to your fingers. 3.5) Divide and color with MATCHA When the dough is ready: 1.	Divide the dough into 3 equal parts. 2.	First part: leave it vanilla. 3.	Second part: add 1 tsp matcha → light matcha. 4.	Third part: add 2 tsp matcha → deeper matcha. 5.	Mix each portion just until the matcha is incorporated. You will now have three doughs: ✔️ vanilla ✔️ light green ✔️ deep green Perfect for marbled cookies, layered designs, or natural-tone patterns. 4) Chill • Shape each dough portion into a flat disc • Wrap them separately • Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to firm up 5) Roll out • Roll between parchment sheets • Recommended thickness: 0.6 cm for soft cookies, 0.5 cm for firmer ones • You can combine the doughs (vanilla + light + deep matcha) for a beautiful marbled effect 6) Cut Cut your shapes. For extra clean edges: chill the cut cookies on the tray for 10 minutes before baking. 7) Bake • (350°F) • 10–12 minutes • Remove when they look matte and the edges are just set — do not let them brown 8) Cool Let them cool completely. The texture sets fully after 20–30 minutes. #sugarcookies #christmascookies #matcha #EasyRecipe #CapCut
