@utatune: While battling motion sickness on his train rides in college, r-906 used the mobile VOCALOID editor and GarageBand apps to make songs on his iPhone. Fast forward to this year, and the Vocaloid Producer’s taken home the Best Vocaloid Culture Song award at this year’s MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN. r-906 is releasing a new song in a couple of days, so I wanted to spotlight the incredible VocaloidP (whose music has a really special place in my heart). Often referred to as “arukuremu,” r-906 first began releasing music in 2018, and found major success with his eighth song, “Panopticon.” Over the years, he’s become well-known for high energy tracks with incredible instrumentals, and lyrics that have sent me down various rabbit holes with all of the analysis fans have shared online.
