I’ve wanted to bring my rig to Rockaway Beach all summer, but it’s a pretty long commute.. So I hit up @nyc_ferry to see if I could play on the top deck for the hr long trip 🙌 Knowing the chances of getting a stranger to hop on the mic mid-ferry were slim, I called in a pro to help out: @marcrebillet As any live-looper would likely say, Marc is a huge inspiration. It was thanks to his videos that I discovered the RC-505 looper back in 2019, which completely transformed the way I made music. I’ve also been a devout ferry rider since moving to NYC in 2020, so getting to play on the roof all the way to Rockaway, with Marc of all people, was surreal. Couldn’t think of a better way to end the summer 🙌🔥
