The lack of diversity and also the fact they didn’t really address it over the year was a big problem. It’s something I’ve had to actively seek education on over the years. Makeup is for everyone and it’s so important to me that I can do makeup on anyone who sits in my chair

Those were the days!!!! But I completely agree. It was extremely crucial for us to learn how to do makeup on EVERYONE. I remember my first few times working on darker skin was literally bridesmaids and mothers of the bride… they looked so beautiful but it was weirdly daunting? I hear you xx
