Me and my brother had a terrible relationship it was honestly on us both but I just wanted to us to be brothers again one day I saw him playing destiny 1 talking about how the dark below had just released. I remember watching him and seeing how much he enjoyed it and I saved up and bought a ps4 and destiny so I could play with him. Fast forward a few years and me and him just ran a few dungeons 2 weeks ago. When people ask me about destiny I say it’s the game that gave me my brother back and I’m eternally grateful for it. Sorry for the random story this isn’t really a story I can share to many people.

I was 10 when destiny 2 came out. I started playing destiny in 2015 and loved the game ever since and man it’s been a ride. It’s been almost 2 years since I played destiny 2 because life got busy and in the way, you know, as it does for us all. But the memories, the friends, the late nights with people I knew in person or only online were all worth it and something I’ll never forget. As a kid and through my teens, I’d come home and hop on destiny and play with my friends, who ever was on and I didn’t much care what we did, weather it was crucible, nightfalls, campaign missions, it didn’t matter, it was all amazing even when it wasn’t, when you’d get an activity that just irritated your a person on your fireteam that was mean, I’d take nothing back, not change a thing. Once in a while I’ll shoot a message or hop on call with the friends I made online. Atleast the ones that will still talk to me. I have friends online that I’ve played with since the beginning. Haven’t talk to them in a while tho sadly. There has been many friends that came a gone, lost the gamertag, switch consoles, stoped playing or just moved on to other friends. And you know, that’s okay, we all got the path we feel we want or need. Destiny created an amazing community one I’ll never forget, like many of you, it will always be apart of me. Destiny was my childhood, its heart breaking the new content is coming to a close, with destiny with it. Destiny had an amazing run. I pray a destiny 3 will come. But until then, Guardians, see you in the stars, see you in the activity’s and playlists that remain.

I remember first playing through the red war with my best friend. Then we’d just hit up patrols and lost sectors and awe at the games beauty. We’d always find our way to Nessus or titan and just chill there. This game ending has broken me.
