Would be interested to hear your take on how free university mainly benefits upper middle class young people. Young people still have to forego income to study, meaning working class young people are still shut out. The reason International students have to pay more is that they have not been paying tax into the system for generations. I have been a taxpayer since I was 14 and pay over $100k tax a year, my children should be able to go to uni at a subsidised rate.

Hey Neha, how many Indians already have multiple degrees they earned at the many universities in India, that they can't use in Australia because they have to sit a translated version or complete the Australian conversion programs to be able to practise in their field in Australia?

still crazy to my that so many of them are coming over with literal masters degrees and phds but they have to do graduate diplomas in a similar field just to get a job here???

Except they’re not. There are so many loopholes in the legislation, you can literally bring out someone from India to clean the toilet toilets
