@madegooduk: 30 sustainable swaps in 30 days. Save this one for your next shop 👇 These were the best swaps we could find in each store at the time we filmed. Shelves change, so treat it as a guide. The full list: 1. Fish, hake over cod 2. Hand soap, Little Soap Co bar, British made 3. Laundry, Ecover powder and a cooler wash 4. Loo roll, Sainsbury's recycled, no plastic wrap 5. Scourers, Spontex Cellulose 6. Dishwasher tabs, Ecover wrapper-free 7. Washing-up liquid, Ecover, recycled bottle 8. Utensils, stainless steel not nylon 9. Food storage, reusable silicone lids 10. Deodorant, Fussy, refillable 11. Men's razors, Bulldog bamboo 12. Bin bags, recycled, and use fewer 13. Kitchen roll, a reusable Swedish dishcloth 14. Nappies, Kit & Kin, paper pack, B Corp 19. Toothpaste, PÄRLA tabs, still with fluoride 20. Sun cream, Boots mineral, recyclable tube 21. Shampoo, Faith in Nature, refill or bar, B Corp 22. Coffee pods, Little's, aluminium and UK made 27. Baby wipes, WaterWipes 28. Tea, Clipper Organic and Fairtrade, B Corp 29. Ladies razors, Wilkinson Sword metal safety razor 30. Butter, Naturli' plant spread, palm-oil-free Quick correction on day 27: WaterWipes is 99.9% water plus a drop of grapefruit seed extract, and the wipe itself is a plant-based cloth. We mixed that up in the video. None of these needs a whole new routine. The better option is usually one shelf over. What should we swap for the next 30 days? Tell us below. And if you know a UK indie maker we should be shouting about, drop their name in. #sustainableswaps #consciousshopping #ecoswaps #shopsustainably #madegood

I'd be interested to see a price comparison between the 'usual' option and the swap

These have been so useful I’ve switched my loo roll to naked paper (recycled unbleached) and changed to using bar soap instead of bottled, and when my scrub daddy dies I will be picking up natural sponges for the kitchen. I already use powder washing powder and bamboo/stainless steel utensils. I use old cut up pillow cases as my kitchen paper towel and shove it in the wash too!

Could you do skin care at some point? I’m running out of all mine and I’m thinking it’s a good time to swap to more eco friendly options

I find the face in nature isn’t actually very good shampoo or conditioner. This may not be the best swap but I use shampoo and conditioner bars or fill up my metal reusable bottle from The Body Shop with the options they have.

love this series so much!! if you have a holland and barrett near you they do sustainable/natural bodycare and id highly recommend getting the app and you will save a lot as they always have discounts. ive swapped my whole bathroom for sustainable stuff so now i use shampoo and conditioner bars from faith in nature and both my body and hand soaps are from fussy, they are great if you have sensitive skin aswell.
