Most times it looks like a widening part, a suddenly visible scalp, thinner ends, and watching your ponytail get smaller month after month. Around that time, I also started wearing caps whenever I went outside. I could literally feel the breeze on my scalp. It felt empty and I felt exposed. Also, long hair doesn’t always mean healthy hair. You can have hair down to your waist and still be losing chunks of hair every day while brushing, in the shower, or even just running your fingers through it.
